The Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, or FERC, is an independent agency that regulates the interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas, and oil. FERC also reviews proposals to build liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals and interstate natural gas pipelines as well as licensing hydropower projects. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 gave FERC additional responsibilities.

Efficiency Exchange (EEx) helps manufacturing facilities
in China operate more efficiently through training, education, and other programs designed to reduce energy usage. The Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE)
BCSE is a coalition of companies and
trade associations from the energy efficiency, natural gas and renewable energy sectors, and also includes independent electric power producers, investor-owned utilities, public power, commercial end-users and project developers and service providers for environmental markets. BCSE has a position open for the 2012 Jan Schori Summer Fellowship Program.

The District of Columbia Sustainable
Energy Utility (DC SEU) is designed to help District households, businesses, and institutions save energy and money through energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. Led by the Sustainable Energy Partnership, the DC SEU is committed to community engagement, economic development, job creation, and environmental preservation.
The DC Sustainable Energy Utility is a project of the Sustainable Energy Partnership under contract to the District Department of the Environment (DDOE).

Global CNG-LNG Inc. (GCL) is a Maryland-based natural gas vehicle fuel related downstream project developer and consulting firm. Projects include complete fueling services via long-term contracts for heavy-duty vehicle fleets consisting excusively of liquified natural gas (LNG) powered trucks. GCL will design, build, and operate the LNG/CNG refueling stations for the project. Our business model secures their business by presenting the cost saving & clean-air alternative offered by natural gas. In the process, we help reduce America’s need for foreign oil imports as natural gas is sourced domestically.
